This device does not hurt my ear (sometimes I even forget it's there). I purchased this bluetooth for my LG Lotus primarily for driving - I only use it about three times a week so I didn't want to shell out a lot of money. I can hear very clearly, but a few people have had trouble hearing me - could be that I'm just not speaking loudly enough though. I actually found it for about $15. It's lightweight and easy to set up and use. I find that it feels really fragile but I couldn't find a hard case for it so I purchased a $2 hard contact case that holds it perfectly. Overall, I would recommend this product for anyone seeking a decently priced device for casual use.
I was not happy with this product. Out-going as well as in-coming callers wasn't able to hear me due to the static noise coming from the earpiece. The round ear piece was too big to fit inside my ear; it was uncomfortable on the ear. Not pleased.
The first one we got was defective. Amazon sent us out another one right away and it works great. Actually much better than the Motorola bluetooth headsets we've had.
This unit work decently, so far. Even when I over-annunciate, or speak slowly, it picks the wrong command or name most times. The audio quality is kind of high in the mid-range area, which makes it difficult to understand people sometimes. Also, using the voice commands almost never works correctly. This could be partially the phone's fault as well. (I use an LG Dare).
I went through amazon's notification system and got an almost immediate response but didn't receive the replacement for another TWO WEEKS. I had a hard time getting this product. I was beginning to think I wasn't going to receive it. I received it four days after ship date, in no packaging, just a plastic bag in an envelope. I plugged it in and it didn't work. I wouldn't order from here again because you can't get a refund on electronics, only a replacement and because they don't package your items properly (that's why I think mine came broken). One star taken away for packaging, one star taken away because it was broken, and one star taken away because I had to wait almost a month from first order date to get this product.
